Quickoffice® Pro HD Review

bestreview Intro: Creating an app that’s meant to be a mobile substitute for Microsoft Office is an ambitious undertaking, even when you’re not aiming to replicate all, or even most, of the heavyweight’s functionality. That Quickoffice has managed to do so with Quickoffice Connect Mobile Suite for iPad is impressive in and of itself...

Final words: If you require an office suite as part of your iPad app arsenal, QuickOffice Connect would make a solid choice. Its good “production values” mean that there’s almost no learning curve if you already use Microsoft Office, while its limitations, though sometimes frustrating, pale in comparison to the robust and responsive functionality it provides.

QuickOffice HD for iPad- app review

Intro: This week I am looking at QuickOffice HD for iPad. In my ongoing pursuit of productivity apps, I am very pleased with what is coming out of the development community for iPad. Does QuickOffice HD raise the bar again? Let’s dive right in and take a look...

Final words: However, Quick Office does so many things right, I find myself going back and forth between iWork for iPad, Documents to Go for iPad and QuickOffice HD depending on what I have to do. Competition is good and all of these apps does something better then the other.

Quickoffice Pro HD Review for iPad

Intro: Very recently, Quickoffice, Inc renamed their popular business app, Quickoffice Connect™ Mobile Suite for iPad, to Quickoffice® Pro HD. As mostly everyone should already know, Quickoffice enables you to work with Microsoft® Office files on your iDevice. Yes, I realize we’re a year late reviewing Quickoffice for the iPad, but better late than never...

Final words: Overall, despite a few limitations, Quickoffice will be of great help to those who need to work on the go. AirPrint has been implemented, and you may also save files as PDFs. The app should be especially beneficial to those who need to make presentations, as you can connect your iPad to an external monitor or projector and even activate a virtual laser pointer.

Quickoffice for iPad review: Solid workflow support

Intro: Here we are, a few months after the launch of the iPad, and the device is still waiting for that killer productivity app, the one that will make it a vital workplace tool. A recent entry into the contest is Quickoffice Connect Mobile Suite for iPad, the latest iteration of the popular Quickoffice line of mobile productivity apps. While Quickoffice for iPad doesn’t quite hit “killer app” status, it is definitely one of the better workflow tools in the App Store...

Final words: As a part of your daily workflow, however, it’s top notch. And since the developer has a history of supporting and updating their apps, Quickoffice for iPad will only get better. With the iWork suite, Apple focused on features, but dropped the ball on functionality by ignoring the need for workflow and Office compatibility. Quickoffice for iPad doesn’t make these mistakes, and as such, even with its current limitations, it is a great choice for anyone who needs a portable document companion in their work.

Quickoffice Connect Mobile Suite for iPad in Review

Intro: I’d like to start off angling Quickoffice’s good foot forward. The iPad is the productivity dilly in the iDevice line. The near full-sized keyboard can be flown over at speeds that rival or surpass a real keyboard and its large screen allows file hierarchies to be skimmed through with ease. Quickoffice makes very good use of the latter. Its file tree is instantly recognisable to any OSX user. It is simple and requires just a few clicks to get to any file. Making files and folders, too, which is enacted by the ‘+’ sign, is as easy as pay...

Final words: Quickoffice evidently DID get the note: the iPad isn’t for content creation; it is for consumption. Paltry setup features are forgivable: no one expects iPad software to outdo home productivity suite, but input speed should be perfect on par with input ability. There is no excuse that forgives waiting for text to appear. Quickoffice, fix that issue and you will have a GREAT productivity app at a great price.

Is Quickoffice Connect Mobile Suite the new top dog in iPad Office apps?

Intro: A couple of week ago one of my favorite iPhone Office applications, Documents To Go, was released for the iPad. As we see on the iPhone, the competition is not waiting on their laurels and yesterday we saw the release of Quickoffice Connect Mobile Suite for the iPad...

Final words: After purchasing and testing out iWork, Office2 HD, Documents To Go, and now Quickoffice Connect, I personally find Quickoffice to be the best with a mix of standard Office functionality and user interface elements that rival those found in the iWork suite. For just $9.99 at launch I think it is well worth the price and am still amazed how inexpensive these iPhone/iPad applications are compared to the prices I used to pay for mobile applications.

Quickoffice Connect Mobile Suite for iPad Review

Intro: Those of us who organize our lives around Google Docs now have another option for accessing and editing our vital information on the go. Quickoffice Connect Mobile Suite for iPad is a very long name for an app that isn’t as long on features as its nearest competitor, Docs to Go Premium, but what it lacks in features it makes up for in ease of use and overall design...

Final words: Evaluate your needs carefully before making a purchase and you should be in good shape. If you need to be able to edit and create Powerpoint presentations, Quickoffice is not the best choice. However, if you are looking for a strong word processor and spreadsheet editor with a clean user interface, you should definitely consider Quickoffice.
