Dropbox for iPad

bestreview Intro: The mobile professional has myriad devices on which files live, which makes having a dependable syncing program a must. Dropbox (Free, 4 stars) fills that role nicely with an iPad app that complements its desktop and mobile phone products. Like those other versions of the free file synchronization application, Dropbox for iPad features a simple interface, easy uploading, and swift syncing across all accounts...

Final words: Overall, it's an excellent, affordably priced tool for the businessperson on the go. It's only hampered by the lack of built-in document editing, the inability to move files, and a one upload at a time limitation. If you're looking for an infinitely simple way to keep files in order between your iPad, desktop, and phone, Dropbox for iPad is a worthy consideration. It's simple to use, free, and offers offline file access. If some of my complaints are addressed in a future update, it would make this good synchronization app even better.

Dropbox for iPad Available

Intro: Dropbox has just updated its official iPhone client to include support for the iPad. It’s available for free here. The new version takes advantage of the iPad’s portrait and landscape modes to display your folders on the list, and also makes use of popovers in the main view to email and copy links and access your favorites. Also, it’s now possible to export documents to native iPad apps such as Keynote and Pages...

Final words: But anyway, it’s still Dropbox you know and love running with a native interface on the iPad, and if you need to read that something you have on your Mac – you can. It’s the same lifesaver, but it needs a lot of improvements. If you still don’t have a Dropbox account, go create one. It’s free, and it’s the best online backup and sync service you might ever ask for.

Review: Dropbox for iPad

Intro: If you are not already a Dropbox user, you are missing out on a great productivity tool. Back in the “stone-age” we carried around floppy disks in our briefcase or laptop case, with our critical files that we always needed handy. More recently, the advent of USB thumbdrives made transporting files and data easier. But now, with Dropbox, you can store your files in the “cloud” and never worry about about losing your data or being with your critical files...

Final words: All-in-all Dropbox for iPad gives you the ability to access files and even download and store critical files on your iPad in the event you don’t have connectivity. It is an extremely useful app for keeping files in sync and being able to access them from multiple computers, your iPhone or iPad, plus with 2GB of storage available for free it should be a no-brainer.
