Review: LogMeIn Ignition for the Apple iPad
Intro: Corporate IT staff, technology consultants and traveling users increasingly are demanding smaller, more portable devices that provide powerful, secure and easy-to-use remote connectivity capabilities. LogMeIn Ignition not only provides an outstanding interface for connecting to Windows clients, Windows servers and Macs running LogMein, but provides simple connectivity to Adobe Flash, too...
Final words: Reliable, secure and easy-to-use remote control applications are becoming a requirement for any modern-day road warrior. As portable devices increasingly become the norm, connecting back to mothership systems or remotely accessing critical servers is going to prove commonplace. It’s good to know LogMeIn, with its Ignition application, already has a proven solution in place.

Review: LogMeIn Ignition for iPad
Intro: In Countdown to iPad – iPortal, we explored how an iPad could be used as a portal into and onto other computer platforms. LogMeIn Ignition remote access software gives iPad that ability. I found LogMeIn’s tag line “One touch access to all of your information,” to be almost spot on. After proper setup I was/am able to remotely access my computers with just two touches...
Final words: I am sure many iPad users will cringe at the USD price tag. For the system administrator who remotely manages computers, it’s certainly well worth it. For me, it means I don’t need to purchase monitors for my Mac Mini servers. For the business traveler who left their presentation at home, it may save a customer. Once you figure out how you would use LogMeIn Ignition for iPad, you might find it well worth the price.

Quick Review: LogMeIn Ignition for iPad
Intro: If you’ve been using LogMeIn Ignition for iPhone, prepare to be blown away by the iPad version. LogMeIn Ignition for iPad has essentially the same functionality as the iPhone, but is much faster...
Final words: I can’t recommend LogMeIn Ignition enough. It’s come in very handy when having to access my home computer.. and even my Mother-In-Law’s PC for help. There are several VNC type of clients out there, but this one is fast, zero setup (compared to a VNC configuration) and has plans to meet your needs.

LogMeIn Ignition Review
Intro: Now that smart phones and tablets are becoming more powerful and as ubiquitous as notebooks, it stands to reason that consumers would rather take just those smaller devices on the road. LogMeIn Ignition is a highly flexible remote-access app that runs on Android smart phones as well as on the iPad and iPhone. But is this $30 app a good deal?...
Final words: LogMeIn Ignition has a lot going for it. It works with both iOS and Android devices, gestures were smooth, and it's less expensive over the long haul. However, we slightly prefer GoToMyPC client for iPad only because the interface is better and more stable and it takes fewer steps to connect. That's the important feature when you're in a pinch.
