Review: Noteshelf for iPad

bestreview Intro: I have been intrigued with the concept of digital ink ever since I started using PDAs in 1997. However, even though there have been times where it seemed like that killer application was just around the corner, ink has never seemed to fully get there for me. I used it to scribble quick notes on my old Microsoft Windows CE, Pocket PC, and Windows Mobile devices, but I always hated the fact that, if you were in a hurry and didn’t have time to title your note, you had to go searching through assorted generic titles to find it. It just didn’t work that well on small screen devices. Then there was handwriting recognition. (Head shaking back and forth)...

Final words: Despite whatever small issues Noteshelf may have, it is absolutely a great value at $4.99. It brings digital ink and notetaking together on the iPad in a way that no other app that I have seen has. Combined with a capacitive screen stylus, Noteshelf lets you take digital ink notes for whatever purpose in a very fluid and natural way. Combined further with Evernote, you have the added power of archiving, universal syncing, and advanced image searching. All together, Noteshelf is absolutely the way to go if you have an iPad and want a fresh take on legal pads and paper organizers in the digital world.

Noteshelf: A Handwriting App for iPad I Can Actually Use

Intro: I remember the iPad launch day. I also remember the grand opening of the iPad App Store – actually, we were the first ones to take a sneak peek inside it. Between the excitement and the geek dreams of a new device that would change the face of computing as we knew it forever, we didn’t really pay attention to the apps that were being submitted for approval. Six months later, it’s very easy to spot one of the best selling categories in the iPad App Store: handwriting apps. Note taking applications that let you write on the iPad’s big screen using your fingers or, if you have one (I do), a stylus. Penultimate was one of the first notable apps to sell zillions of copies...

Final words: Noteshelf is hands down the best handwriting app currently available in the App Store. Great virtual ink rendering, nice UI, fast, lots of neat features coming in the next updates and many templates to choose from. I recommend this.

The Future of Handwriting: Noteshelf

Intro: Continuing with our series about handwriting apps, we’re now going to take a look at an app that takes the functionality of the previously reviewed Penultimate even further. Meet Noteshelf, your digital collection of notebooks of all kinds. Noteshelf has full support for image placement, icon usage, and even zoom, which allows for even greater control of your handwriting...

Final words: As an honest reviewer, it would be foolish to say an app is perfect – there’s always room for improvement! But Noteshelf is pretty close to a perfect app. It’s stable, offers a wealth features, and the zoom option is the icing on the cake. The only gripe I have with the app is its inability to edit images once they’ve been inserted into a notebook, and it’s inability to annotate PDF files. Also, owing to the fact that I’m a rather impatient person, I wish the notebooks would load a tad faster. Saying that, there’s really just a 2/3 second delay when tapping a notebook to open – it’s not all that bad! If your desire is to write quickly and easily on your iPad, while also being presented with a multitude of delightful styles and options, then Noteshelf may be for you!

Noteshelf: handwritten iPad notes that really work

Intro: Noteshelf from FluidTouch.biz is a fresh new iPad notebook app for handwritten notes that addresses most of the issues I've had with similar apps in the past. In fact, Noteshelf is so usable that I just deleted a couple of other apps that I was using to capture handwritten notes. Here's what is so great about this app...

Final words: For those situations where you just can't type fast enough to capture all of the notes that you need to, or if you like the feel and look of pen on paper, Noteshelf is a near-perfect digital notebook. I can't wait to see what else will be forthcoming for this well thought-out and beautifully executed app.

Review : Noteshelf for iPad

Intro: Since the iPad launched the one thing I’ve not been able to do that I really wanted to is use the iPad like a notebook. I don’t mean for meetings or things like that, I’ve done that. Works great. But where most apps fail me is at home, with the mundane little things, those pieces of scrap paper for groceries, to-do lists, whatever. This is where Noteshelf beats all my other “note” apps, hands-down...

Final words: Other than those few things, Noteshelf is a hit. I love it, and imagine many improvements are on the way. If you find yourself wanting a great app for everyday lists and notes, but hate trying to re-create the functions, give Noteshelf a try!

Noteshelf Review for iPad

Intro: Do you like to make handwritten notes? Noteshelf by Ramki will let you compile and keep a digitalized library of notebooks in your favorite scrawl. In addition to writing typical notes, you can also compose music on scoresheets, keep sports scorebooks, as well as use your own custom note paper...

Final words: Noteshelf is highly recommended for those who have a hard time shelving pen and paper but would like a good digital replacement. At $4.99 in the App Store, the app isn’t any more costly than a regular paper notebook.

iPad App Review: Noteshelf

Intro: When it comes to note taking applications for the iPad, there are certainly a great deal to choose from. There are so many in fact, that you will probably not know which one is the best as they all look pretty much the same and offer the same features. Of course, there are also many note taking applications that look pretty boring. Now, there is a new note taking app on the market that goes by the name of Noteshelf for iPad and in terms of note taking iPad Apps, this is one of the best that we have seen so far...

Final words: Overall, this is certainly one of the best note taking applications out there for the iPad and is packed with a lot of features.
