Opera is known for bringing a first-class web experience to thousands of mobile devices, and Opera Mini Web Browser brings great enhancements that make the Opera browser the smarter choice for mobile devices. The Web has never been so fast on your tablet. Opera’s streamlined rendering engine and server-side compression allows the Opera browser to load webpages much more quickly than other browsers. Features, such as the address bar and touchscreen control save you time and effort when performing basic tasks, such as entering addresses or scrolling rapidly through pages. The clean, simple and elegant user experience is now modernized and enhanced. Scrolling and zooming is buttery smooth, and support for the latest technology is updated. The Opera rendering engine displays complete webpages, just like on your computer, and is fully standards compliant. Switching between open webpages is a snap with tabs, and Speed Dial launches your favorite websites with a single click.

Opera Mini 6 for iPad Reviewed
Intro: There isn’t any stiff competition on the iPad when it comes to third party browsers, but one could arguably assert that Opera has a widely recognizable name when it comes to the mobile browser space; we’re sure the Opera community would enjoy additional exposure on iOS alongside the dominant focus on Android. Unfortunately, Opera’s attention to Android has tended to be a problem when it comes to curating its iOS app...
Final words: Opera Mini 6 is a great choice when you’re on a mobile connection, and data spent is more important than website formatting. Unfortunately, the browser’s good ideas are hindered by the website formatting itself, resulting into sometimes frustrating experiences when faster connections are available. Safari appears (an important distinction) to be faster in most cases until you start compressing or turning off images in Opera, which is where things get insanely zippy. Whether you want to sacrifice that part of the web experience will depend on your needs, but I still prefer the Webkit experience wherever it’s provided. Opera will make improvements to the underlying engine since it’s server side, but will they continue to support the users who prefer Opera full-time over Safari? It’s the lack of attention and response to Opera Mini on the iPhone that originally drove users away, and I suspect more of the same will happen again.

Opera Mini Review for iPad with Speed & Data usage Test
Intro: Opera Mini is a unique free browser that has come to the iPad. The main difference with this browser is it renders the web pages server side instead of on the device. This server side rendering is supposed to increase speed and reduce data usage. Well we will test this and give you my thoughts...
Final words: I am really impressed with Opera Mini on the iPad. The responsiveness and usability really makes this feel like a browser I could use. I could only find one glaring issues the lack of HTML5 video streaming. I would recommend this browser especially if your running on any kind of slower connection. Also if you are running on a limited data plan this browser could save you big time. The tabs are better than Safari but still not the kind of tabs everyone is looking for. Hey its free give it a try.

A Close Look at Opera 6 for iPad: The Best Third-Party Browser?
Intro: Opera Mini 6 for iPad is the awaited new web browser for the Apple tablet, and it's incredibly good. The best thing about Opera Mini 6 is undoubtedly the blazing speeds at which webpages load. You'll be absolutely amazed when your favourite news site loads completely in barely a second. There is no "checkerboard" effect, and everything is ready the moment the page loads (no missing images or pieces of text)...
Final words: Despite the numerous cons, Opera Mini 6 is a good browser due to the sheer speed it offers. It's quite amazing! This feature outweighs almost everything else since it's really nice to browse the web in "ultrafast" mode. The unlimited tabs feature and the low data usage are other important features which make this app one of the best alternative browsers for the Apple tablet.

Opera Mini Review
Intro: Just a day after hitting the Apple App store the Opera Mini browser for the iPad, iPhone & iPod touch topped every regional downloads chart, worldwide (see the screenshot at Mashable). With the app such a huge success we thought it might be worth reviewing to see what this, the only alternative browser to Safari on the iPhone OS, had up its sleves...
Final words: In summary this is a great app, quick, easy to use and great use of screen real estate, it really ticks all the boxes, the only issue I had with it whilst testing was its slightly irritating zoom function which is either in, or out, with no real in-between setting. However I did discover that by changing the font size (under settings) it is possible to start with website fonts at a slightly more readable scale than the initial ‘tiny’ setting. So, all in all a great app, it may even be good enough to replace Safari as my primary mobile browser, however only time will tell.
