iCab Mobile is probably one of the iPhone browsers with the richest feature set. You can easily add new search engines. Search suggestions from google and yahoo can be activated on the iPad. It's also possible to search within a web page. iCab Mobile can save web forms and restore the form content later. The saved forms data can be password protected. There's a built-in and customizable URL-based filter. The default filters block many advertising banners. You can edit, add or remove filters. It's possible to switch off images to save bandwidth. iCab Mobile supports Tabs, so you can open multiple web pages at the same time. Links can be opened in Tabs manually or automatically. iCab can save the tabs when quitting so these can be loaded even when being offline, the next time the App is launched. Bookmarks can be organized in folders. You can import/export the bookmarks from/to your PC/Mac browser. Bookmarks can be also saved as "Offline Bookmarks" which can be even opened without an internet connection. iCab Mobile provides a fullscreen mode where the whole screen is used to display the web page. No screen space is wasted for toolbars. iCab Mobile has a built-in Download Manager so you can download almost all files from the internet. The downloads can be easily transfered to a Mac/PC/Linux computer but also to other Apps on the device which can open these files. The unique "Scrollpad" feature lets instantly scroll to any location within a web page. iCab Mobile itself can be password protected. When password protection is on, you can enable a guest mode with limited privileges which is available without a password. The guest mode can have its own subset of bookmarks and search engines. iCab Mobile supports Dropbox. Export/Import bookmarks; transfer downloads, images, files, web pages to your Dropbox account.

iCab Mobile for iOS is like a pro version of Safari
Intro: When I first used Safari on my iPhone, I was blown away by how much better it was than any other mobile browser, but since then, Apple hasn't done much with it. A recent Safari update brought significant speed increases, but there are many other limitations that finally led me to try something else, namely iCab Mobile. Is improving your web browsing experience on the iPad or iPhone/iPod touch worth $2?...
Final words: If you do a lot of web browsing on the iPad, you owe it to yourself to spend to see how much better browsing can be with iCab. I bet you'll find yourself wondering why Apple hasn't added a lot of these features to Safari. Maybe someday Apple will improve on Safari, but I don't ever expect to see integrated Dropbox support. That feature alone is worth $2 to me.

iCab Mobile Review: Better iPad Browsing
Intro: One of the draws of using the iPad is having a new device to try new software on to find those gems out there. Having hundreds of thousands of apps to choose from makes this a daunting task, and when a jewel is spotted it can be a delightful experience. That’s the case with iCab Mobile, an alternative web browser for the iPad that has earned a place on my iPad’s dock...
Final words: The iCab Mobile app makes the browsing experience on the iPad better, and that is saying a lot. I find it well worth the $1.99 price and it has replaced Mobile Safari in the iPad dock. That’s the highest compliment I can give an app.

iPad App Review: iCab Mobile (Web Browser)
Intro: When it comes to browsing the web on your iPad, then you might think that there is only one option; Safari. However, much like the iPhone, there are a number of alternative browsers springing up in the app store that are made by third parties. One of these applications for the iPad is named iCab Mobile. When it comes to iPad apps, this is one of the few alternative browsers out there at the moment and we think that it is probably one of the best. If you have got a Mac, then you may have heard of iCab before as the iCab browser has been available previously as an alternative browser for Mac users. But is it really any good on the iPad?...
Final words: Overall, this is a brilliant application is you are looking for an alternative browser to safari and we think that once you try this, you will never use Safari again. This app is available for just .99 in the app store so it is well worth a try.

iCab Mobile (Web Browser)
Intro: iCab Mobile is an iPad (and iPhone) web browser app that offers options at your fingertips with settings that can be summoned up any time right there in the browser. It seems like a silly thing to say, but you can actually set your homepage to be something that you want it to be, and you can return to it by clicking a home button in the address line...
Final words: In short this browser offers more than other browsers even come close to offering. This browser currently enjoys a 4 star rating on the App store, that is pretty much what I would give it if I took the browser at surface value, but when you scratch below the surface, its extra offerings will definitely bump it up another half. The best part is that it only costs $1.99 – sure, there are free browsers, but they don’t come close to iCab Mobile.
