According to a Japaneese blog, Macotakara, after the recent event of Apple, which was actually about iBooks2 and the new iTunes U, we can expect the next event in weeks, maybe in February, where Apple might announce their next generation tablet, iPad3.
If this scenario proves to be true, then according to recent rumors iPad 3 equipped with quad core processor, called A6, and with Retina display, will be in the Apple stores already in March.
Apple announced iPad 2 on 2nd March last year, and after nine days it was available in stores in the United States, but according to the latest news we have to wait a little more after the announcement event this year.
Beside the arrival of the next generation tablet, iPad 2 will be available in the stores as well. Allegedly Apple will keep it on the market as a cheaper model, and its price can drop off to as low as $299. iPad 2 would compete in the lower product category against, for example, Kindle Fire, which has been very popular in recent months.
